Star Trek: Deep Space Nine - Season 5, Episode 6

Trials and Tribble-ations was Deep Space Nine's offering for the franchise's 30th anniversary. It is a loving tribute to one of the Original Series' most popular episodes, and an unashamed excuse for the crew to wear sixties costumes. The one character and costume that stands out from the bunch is of course Terry Farrell's Jadzia Dax in vintage TOS style.

This moment above is set on the original Enterprise's bridge. She is hunkered over while inspecting some of the many, many Tribbles on-board. Just across from her, Kirk sits into the captain's chair and starts, having sat on one of the furballs. He looks around and catches her eye. She shrugs with an eyebrow raised and an iconic moment in Deep Space Nine was born.

Farrell effortlessly pulls off the look and the style, which suits Dax's backstory. She was around in these times, with her host Emony meeting McCoy. He had surgeon's hands, apparently. The sheer number of teenagers who wore out their DVD pause button to try and get a revealing glimpse makes this an easy but a juvenile inclusion.
