6. Black Guardian

The White Guardian was the personification of the forces of light in the universe, the representative of all that was good and just. However, because the universe needs balance, there was a counterpoint to him: the Black Guardian.

He was the exact opposite of the White Guardian, representing the forces of darkness and everything that is evil and chaotic in the universe.

He was part God (one-sxith to be exact) and possessed all the power you would expect to come with that, in particular at the end of the universe where the White Guardian could not follow.

He attempted to stop The Doctor from assembling the Key to Time, which would’ve meant altering the balance of the universe and essentially unleashing complete and utter chaos upon it.

It’s believed he played a role in creating vampires, he is able to change his appearance, can follow The Doctor through time and space, and he is literally the embodiment of evil.
