10 Most Powerful Doctor Who Villains

4. Weeping Angels

Introduced in what is already heralded as a classic Doctor Who episode, Blink, the Weeping Angels are the best new monster in Doctor Who.

Stone statues of, well, weeping angels, they’re ridiculously creepy and attack when the victim isn’t looking, only needing a split-second to make their move, something we never actually see happen. They have the ability to crush the victims to death or snap their neck, but their most powerful ability is to throw them back in time itself, and they feast on the energy this creates, basically living off the life you don’t get to have.

They’re able to transform anything that takes their image into an angel, such as the video recording of them, and have an in-built defines mechanism thanks to their quantum-locking (although this is something The Doctor uses against them). They’re extremely powerful, and super scary.

Whatever you do, don’t blink.
