5. Michael
If you thought Lucifer was powerful, then you’ve had your money on the wrong Archangel. He’s not only the strongest of the four, but the oldest, making him the first angel to ever exist.
Back in Season 5, the biggest threat in the universe was a fight between Lucifer and Michael which would supposedly destroy the entire world - though they got trapped in a cage and that fight was never realised.
Cut to a number of seasons later, we get to see who Michael really is, and he indeed possessed the power he claimed to have. We see him defeat Lucifer multiple times in Season 13, though from how quickly the fights went it seems that people perhaps overestimated the level of destruction predicted back in Season 5. This all makes sense, with the ancient past details him banishing Lucifer down to Hell originally on God’s commandment, personally being the one to seal him away.
The main version of Michael we see in Supernatural is from an alternate reality, so it’s unclear how powerful our original Michael was. But, from the amount of pain his doppelganger put out, it’s safe to say Michael makes this list and stands tall as one of the most powerful beings in the universe.
