10 Most Powerful Supernatural Characters

4. Jack/Nephilim

Supernatural Castiel
The CW

As shown in our earlier entry, Lucifer is a character who put the fear of, well, the Devil, into characters and fans alike. So, it makes sense that his son would be just as intimidating, just as powerful, and just as inherently evil.

However, that’s not so much how it happened. Despite everything Jack Kline goes through with regards to his supposed destiny and his father’s influence, his inherent goodness shines through from his mother’s human side. Lucifer might’ve stolen Jack’s power once, but it didn’t exactly stick.

For a good portion of the later seasons, the storyline revolves around Jack, whether that’s The Shadow trying to steal him from Heaven, or becoming a leader of humans as a resistance to fight against the angels.

That might be all well and good, but #4 on this list? Jack’s true spot is earned when the gang are finally able to overthrow God and Jack becomes the new omniscient powerhouse. He didn’t create all of existence, so he clearly ranks lower than certain other characters, though as we’ve seen him reshape Heaven for the better and put the world right again, Jack's true potential remains to be seen by the world of Supernatural.
