10 Most Powerful Supernatural Characters
3. Chuck/God
It makes sense that a character initially introduced as a ‘Prophet’ who writes about the Winchesters - an on-the-nose shoutout to show creator Erik Kripke - was destined to become a major player on Supernatural.
The
character disappeared in Season 5 when Kripke did, though God remained in
existence within the Supernatural universe and so it was inevitable that Chuck
would come back.
It’s difficult to explain why God is so powerful, as it seems so inherently obvious - he’s as all-knowing and all-powerful as the Biblical tales have for so long lead us to believe.
God might not be as powerful in Supernatural as Christianity has made him out to be, hence why he’s not on the top of this list, but he’s still the creator of Heaven and Earth, of the angels and archangels, and of humans. If not for God, existence as we know it would not exist.
His most impressive creation in the context of this show may be the human soul, for over and over we see Sam and Dean’s inseparable bond and their willpower overcome many a great foe.
