4. Frank Is Desperate (And Dangerous)

As mentioned, Frank finds himself in an immensely sticky situation. He's in a lot of debt, facing the collapse of not only his business empire, but his whole life. A second meeting with the mayor (who gives no indication of recognising Frank at the side of the road) reveals just how desperate Frank is to find the killer. He proclaims "Whoever killed Caspere has my money. I need somewhere to turn, or I may just start pulling down walls". These removal of such "walls" could reveal the corrupt past of Mayor Chessani, and also spell doom for Ray. Eternally in Frank's debt, he is heavily pressurised by Vaughn's character to find the killer. There's no telling what such a dangerous mob boss could do if backed even further into a corner, but viewers are surely going to find out in the next few weeks...
