In a bizarre piece of casting the latest season of Rick and Morty features Elon Musk playing... Elon Tusk. Essentially playing himself but with two tusks coming out of his mouth, no one could have predicted this entrepreneur popping up in one of the most popular TV shows of the moment.
Elon Tusk is an endearing version of the well known, and often well mocked, entrepreneur who, because of his large protruding tusks from his mouth, is a more thoughtful and sympathetic Elon than the one we know. In One Crew Over The Crewcoo's Morty he is recruited to help Rick on a heist, and although not proving particularly useful as a team member, proves himself to be a memorable character at the very least.
Whether the character of Elon Tusk was written and then they managed to convince the actual Elon Musk to cameo as himself or Musk was written in to the episode after expressing interest in the show, the sheer absurdity of this casting rightly deserves the top spot on this list.
