9. The House Of The Undying
Daenerys’ time in Qarth was not a pleasant one. Initially, the city was a sanctuary for the Mother of Dragons and her followers, but she soon came to realise she was far from safe.
After her dragons are stolen by Pyat Pree, Daenerys makes her way to the House of the Undying to reclaim her children. She then witnesses several visions, including a look at the ruined throne room of King’s Landing and the lands north of the Wall. Her situation only becomes worse when she finds herself chained up and face to face with the sadistic Pree.
Though she does ultimately manage to escape with the help of her dragons, her experience inside the House of the Undying isn’t something anyone would wish to go through.
