10 Most Terrifying Locations In Game Of Thrones

8. The Sky Cells

Game Of Thrones Hall Of Faces

The Eyrie is not a particularly appealing place to be. It’s isolated and precariously positioned upon a large rock in the Vale of Arryn.

For anyone who’s even slightly afraid of heights, the sky cells are truly terrifying. One side of the cell is open to the outside world, and given the sloping floor, it would be very easy to roll during sleep and plummet to the ground.

To make matters worse, the keeper of the cells is a mad goaler named Mord. As Tyrion soon realises, Mord is not very sympathetic towards his prisoners and thoroughly enjoys whacking them with his truncheon.

Though the sky cells are better than being thrown through the moon door, they’re still a terrifying prospect for anyone who is taken prisoner at the Eyrie.
