9. Willy The Snitch
Willy the Snitch was a minor character with unlimited narrative potential before he disappeared from the show without warning.
Played with awkward sleaziness by Saverio Guerra, he debuted in the second season as the human owner of an underground demon-friendly bar. Because of his clientele, his knowledge of the demon world made him a reluctant but important ally of Buffy.
Turning up sporadically until season four, Willy was equal parts endearing loser and sometime antagonist, willing to betray the Scooby Gang if it meant getting paid or keeping his business out of trouble.
Considering that Guerra is such a terrific character actor and Willy added a great amount of depth to Buffy's worldbuilding, it's a shame he didn't stick around, but even so the time we got with him made him in need of much more fan appreciation.
