10 Most Underrated TV Shows Of The Last 10 Years

3. On Cinema At The Cinema

Tim Heidecker and Gregg Turkington's web series is the greatest satire of the Internet age. Starting as a movie review show in which the fictionalised Tim and Gregg rate the week's big releases, it has spun out into twelve series (and counting), Oscar specials, the 24 spoof Decker, a lengthy court case, and a feature film.

It's a rich fictional universe that occasionally converges with our own - the bitter rivalry between Tim and Gregg's Marvel movie cameos is one particular early highlight.

It perfectly encapsulates the world of podcasts and web series. Tim uses the show as a platform to discuss alternative medicines, politics, and his anti-vaccination stance.

Tim is a parody of the far-right blowhard you find in any corner of the internet these days, whilst long-suffering Gregg struggles to keep the show focused on his beloved movies. Our hosts come to physically represent both sides of internet discourse - ill-informed political commentary and inane pop culture chatter. Nothing sums up the past ten years better than this.

Most of On Cinema, the Oscar Specials and the first two and a half series of Decker are available on Adult Swim's YouTube channel and you are urged to descend in the On Cinema Universe.
