10 Must-See New TV Shows Starting In February 2022

9. Murderville

Some people are just plain funny, and Will Arnett is one of them. Ever since his breakthrough role as the loudmouth conjurer GOB in Arrested Development, his sonorous voice and comedic obliviousness has been a welcome presence on any show. While his starring roles have been hit and miss, he looks to be onto a winner with Murderville.

Coming to Netflix on February 3rd, Murderville is based on the cult BBC comedy Murder In Successville, and sees Arnett star as Detective Terry Seattle. The hook is that he’s joined in each instalment by a celebrity guest star, from Schitt’s Creek’s Annie Murphy to Conan O’Brien to Sharon Stone. The stars are given free reign to improvise with Arnett to crack the case, making for an intriguing murder mystery/comedy parlour game combo.

Netflix has built itself an impressive roster of comedy shows and has proved its willingness to think outside the box and create works that may not find a home elsewhere. Arnett is always good for a laugh, and assuming his collaborators are game, this should be a blast.
