This new iteration of the series will instead focus on basketball players at East Los Angeles College and their dedicated coach, John Mosley. Premiering on March 10, Last Chance U: Basketball will reveal the gritty reality of community college basketball as the students face hardships, disappointments, and personal issues.

Following the talented athletes as they attempt to reach the state-wide championship, the spin-off will chart both the successes and failures of the East Los Angeles Huskies, an underdog team with heaps of talent and potential.
