10 Planned Seasons Of Cancelled Sci-Fi TV Shows

It's safe to say that the MCU has never dipped as low as the short-lived Inhumans series from 2018. While their presence was built up heavily in Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. and they were slated to get their own movie through most of the plans for Phase 3, these were all hastily altered at the last moment to instead release Inhumans as a limited series in IMAX cinemas. To date, it has been the worst reviewed contribution to the MCU.

Showrunner Scott Buck had stated that he had definite plans for three seasons of the show, but after the dismal showing of its first outing, ABC cancelled it in short order. To date, there's almost no information on what those two follow-up seasons might have contained, but many a Marvel fan won't be disappointed. Talk of a Disney+ reboot (potentially starring Vin Diesel) has been circulating for a while, so maybe we'll see some of those ideas in the end.
