10 Plot Holes You Haven't Noticed In Stranger Things
6. Silent Russians
While Hawkins found itself in the midst of yet another attack from the residents of the Upside Down, it was also the unexpected source of an experiment carried out by evil Russian soldiers - who were undoubtedly the human antagonists of Stranger Things 3. Now, while the fact that the Russians managed to inconspicuously infiltrate Hawkins raised a number of eyebrows - especially when you consider that they had the not-so-sublte Grigori with them - this also made way for a bigger issue.
How on earth did they not only manage to infiltrate Hawkins, but construct their gigantic drill machine and, oh you know, build a freakin' tunnel underneath an incredibly public place without anyone ever discovering their presence? Where did they get the resources to make it happen? How did any of them come and go as they pleased?
Sure, we know that the Russians' affiliation with Mayor Kline worked in their favour, but that doesn't mean that viewers should have to suspend their disbeliefs when it comes to this storyline... shouldn't we be saving that for the supernatural elements?
