6. The Cast Are Perfect

Casting for a show like Titans (or really any show involving well-known pre-existing characters) is always a difficult process as there are so many variables to consider. Should the showrunners go for perfectly-comparable lookalikes in each role or do they take a risk on someone who can bring their particular interpretation of the character the most justice?

Clearly, Geoff Johns and company decided to provide their own version of the crime-fighting team, so it's only fitting that their casting choices fit that same mould.

Each part of the cast feels like a natural choice for their respective roles, evoking a great sense of personality and depth whether they're speaking or simply emoting.

Brandon Thwaites does a solid job bringing the deeply-damaged Flying Grayson into live-action and Teagan Croft illustrates Rachel's mix of childlike innocence and dark tendencies expertly. Anna Diop's Starfire, a casting choice that was hated on by many 'overly-passionate' fans, is a perfect mix of swagger, heart, and intimidation. Last but not least, Ryan Potter's Gar is the perfect representation of the Beast Boy fans know and love, offering plenty of heart and much of the show's humorous moments.

It's early on in the show's life cycle, but this cast will certainly allow it to continue growing from here.
