10 Reasons Doctor Who Fandom Is The Best In The World

1. The Camaraderie

The best thing about the Doctor Who fandom and the reason it is the best fandom in the world is (insert drum roll) the camaraderie it inspires within its fans. To meet another Whovian is to form an instant friendship, for who else will understand why you never blink when you see an angel statue? Who else will grin in approval when you bring a banana to a party? Actions like these are unintelligible to the uninitiated but to a Whovian, they€™re the mark of a kindred spirit. The rapidity with which Whovians form bonds is astonishing but those bonds are nearly impossible to rival. This is possibly a residual effect from the Dark Days, the times when hardly anyone knew about Doctor Who, either because it had been cancelled or it simply wasn€™t as well known as it is today. Whatever causes it, though, the bonds between Whovians are not easily broken and it€™s this firm friendship and camaraderie that makes the Doctor Who community the best fandom to inhabit.
