Of course quantity doesn't mean quality, but there's 13 seasons overall - totaling at 161 episodes. That's a lot of superhero grittiness to escape into.
We understand that this fact might put some people off, but to others it'll be an incentive to dive right in and get lost. And you would make a wise decision to do so. Many TV shows today have the tendency to peak early and go downhill in the last few seasons - this isn't a new trend. Take Game of Thrones, for example. And there are a lot of folks surprised when they find out The Walking Dead is still going.
This isn't the case at all with Netflix's Marvel. There are weak points, yes, but things go uphill towards the end. Season 3 of Daredevil is critically adored - and rightly so.
