8. It's Filling In The Backstory For Other Favourite Breaking Bad Characters...

Saul Goodman's huge popularity in Breaking Bad is clearly what led to his character getting his very own spin-off show, but Goodman wasn't the only supporting character in the series whom the fans loved, and Better Call Saul looks set to flesh out the backstories of other series favourites too. The first - and perhaps most obvious - character we've seen a hint of in Better Call Saul is Mike Ehrmantraut (played by Jonathan Banks), seen handing out tickets - and really getting on McGill's nerves - in the first two episodes. Quite how he goes from car park ticket attendant to becoming Saul's main man for investigations is anyone's guess, and there are bound to be plenty more familiar faces from Breaking Bad cropping up as the series progresses.
