10 Reasons Why Better Call Saul Could Be As Good As Breaking Bad
7. ...And Other More Notorious Villains
To say that Saul Goodman's character in Breaking Bad knew one or two unsavoury types is an understatement. While audiences never quite knew the extent of his criminal connections, it was pretty clear that he was deeply embedded in Alberquerque's criminal fraternity. Of course, this isn't the case when we meet Saul in his earlier Jimmy McGill incarnation - if anything, he comes across as naively detached from the underworld with which he will later become so intertwined. The first hint of just how he comes to be engulfed in the activities of those on the wrong side of the law can be seen in episode 2, where everyone's favourite psychopathic Mexican drug kingpin Tuco Salamanca shows his mean face. Which other notorious Breaking Bad criminals will make an appearance is anyone's guess, but there's a good chance that ultra-kingpin Gus Fring might turn up on the show sooner or later - naturally, with face fully intact.
