3. Black Krrsantan
If you're going to build a story with characters that stands apart from the Skywalker Saga in the Star Wars Universe, it should go without saying that you still need some loveable Wookies involved. In Doctor Aphra's series, that Wookie is Black Krrsantan. But do not mistake this Wookie for a Chewbacca clone. He is something else entirely.
Black Krrsantan was originally trained to essentially be a gladiator. As such, he is an incredible fighter who has no issues killing anyone for almost no reason. From there, he became a mercenary and bounty hunter. Basically, he does whatever he wants, to whoever he wants, whenever he wants.
Frequently, BK rides shotgun with Aphra on a variety of scams. That's mainly because Aphra often owes him money and he wants to make sure he gets paid. While neither of them would admit this, they're actually the closest thing each other has to a friend, and can also be found in each other's company on the rare occasion they're not robbing someone.
