3. Continuity Errors
One of Glees biggest issues is its apparent lack of continuity. Quinn, for example, experienced some massive growth of character in season one and seemingly became compassionate and caring... but then all of a sudden she was back to being manipulative and controlling. Also, once upon a time, Finn despised Puck. He did after all betray him and shack up with his missus, only to get her preggers. But a couple of episodes later, they were best beds. There is very little logic in that. The writers seem to disregard everything that happens in previous seasons, thus each episode of Glee feels like a work in progress, limping to the finish line with very little care and attention. Santanas coming out plot was a messy disgrace. She was shunned by her grandmother in one episode and then... nothing. It was rarely mentioned again. Kurt had an incredibly extensive coming out plot that was handled with care and the attention it deserved. Santanas was cast aside for the sake of a Glee club rivalry. Also, if New Directions are always so conscious of not having enough members, why dont they always recruit their bassist and drummer like they did in Hold On To Sixteen, or perhaps the eight other extras who performed with The Troubletones? And the whole thing about suspending Santana for slapping Finn. What about that fight between Puck and Rick The Stick a couple of episodes later? Why was nobody suspended for that? Glee is littered with inconsistencies.
