Daredevil: 10 Reasons Wilson Fisk Is The Best MCU Villain
1. Future Potential
With each instalment the MCU is becoming increasingly interconnected, and when you factor in Spider-Man's future appearances it is no surprise there are those looking forward to Fisk featuring on the big screen. As exciting as this would no doubt be, and he obviously deserves the bigger audience, it is future Netflix adventures that hold the most potential.
It remains to be seen whether or not Fisk will factor into The Defenders (a series which will see Murdock fight alongside three more forthcoming Netflix heroes), but as such an integral part of the first, surely he will return for Daredevil's recently commissioned second season. In fact while Matt Murdock has now fully become the Daredevil that fans know and love, just how this Wilson Fisk will adapt to the general population being aware of his true nature remains to be seen.
Even those villains who were incarcerated rather than killed likely won't return as the MCU moves forward. Loki on the other hand has appeared in three films with still more to come, but with not much more than overzealous ambition to show for it. Regardless of how many films they appear in, with shorter screen-time the development of cinematic villains never reaches its full potential.
Compare this to a TV series however, and even with a whole season under his belt, Wilson Fisk's journey to becoming the Kingpin has only just begun.
