10 Reasons You Need To Watch It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia

1. Eight Seasons In And Still Going!

Always Sunny 4 The finale of the eighth season of It€™s Always Sunny aired in December 2012 and the ninth is on its way later this year. How has this show succeeded where others have failed? The secret to the show€™s success is, in my opinion, valuing good quality writing over fancy sets and huge celebrity pay packets (DeVito is reportedly earning a relative pittance for his role). Or perhaps FX just wouldn€™t deign to cancel the show given it costs about a quarter of the cost of most American sitcoms ($400,000 per episode) and has an ever-growing fan base. In a world of six episode series and constant cancellations, this show has so much to give. Nearly 9 whole seasons in fact. Hopefully they€™ll round it up to an even ten.
