10 Reasons You're Not Fit To Call Yourself A Doctor Who Fan

9. You Disregard The Classic/NuWho Series

It€™s perfectly understandable that you find the idea of catching up on 50 years€™ worth of Doctor Who daunting, and at times impossible, to say the least. It happens to the best of us, so don€™t worry. Well, so long as you get up to watching all of it (OK, you can be forgiven for skipping the missing ones!). But, skipping 8 Doctors, 26 seasons and a TV film, or on the other hand, skipping 4 Doctors, 8 series, TV specials, supplemental minisodes and prequels for no viable reason whatsoever is just plain daft€ and unacceptable. And stupid. It€™s a rite of passage for €œClassic fans€ to criticise €œNuWho fans€ and vice versa for their choices in the two stately Doctor Who eras, and rightly so, but it shouldn€™t just amount to that. There aren€™t two separate eras. It€™s just one Doctor and his adventures spanning out through decades. You can€™t just neglect one or the other. Plus, there€™s just so much to see. From being amazed by Susan€™s taste in music to Clara€™s soufflé status, you can€™t just let it go over the top of your head. You€™re definitely not a true Whovian when you can barely tell the difference between Vortis and Raxacoricofallapatorius.
