10 Reasons You're Not Fit To Call Yourself A Doctor Who Fan
9. You Disregard The Classic/NuWho Series
Its perfectly understandable that you find the idea of catching up on 50 years worth of Doctor Who daunting, and at times impossible, to say the least. It happens to the best of us, so dont worry. Well, so long as you get up to watching all of it (OK, you can be forgiven for skipping the missing ones!). But, skipping 8 Doctors, 26 seasons and a TV film, or on the other hand, skipping 4 Doctors, 8 series, TV specials, supplemental minisodes and prequels for no viable reason whatsoever is just plain daft and unacceptable. And stupid. Its a rite of passage for Classic fans to criticise NuWho fans and vice versa for their choices in the two stately Doctor Who eras, and rightly so, but it shouldnt just amount to that. There arent two separate eras. Its just one Doctor and his adventures spanning out through decades. You cant just neglect one or the other. Plus, theres just so much to see. From being amazed by Susans taste in music to Claras soufflé status, you cant just let it go over the top of your head. Youre definitely not a true Whovian when you can barely tell the difference between Vortis and Raxacoricofallapatorius.
