8. You've Never Looked Beyond The Telly
Doctor Who is universal. Literally. But sometimes its more than that because the world doesnt end with just the series. If youre willing to go the extra mile and prove yourself, you need to have paid more attention when K-9 and Company (even though it was a single episode), Torchwood, The Sarah Jane Adventures, K-9, Doctor Who Confidential, Totally Doctor Who and Doctor Who Extra came about post-Time War. Apart from that, the episodes for charity (that Red Nose Day episode was such a teaser), books and comics about the War Doctor are all really very important. Theyre merely related to the actual series but theyre no less in any way. While youre at it, Big Finishs audio plays starring the Fourth Doctor through the Eighth Doctor (Paul McGann FTW!) are the absolute best. If you havent heard them, youre in a much bigger mess than youd previously imagined.
