10 Revived TV Shows That Should Have Stayed Dead
1. Heroes Reborn
No fan favourite TV show has fallen from grace quicker than Heroes, which had a great first season followed by three crappy ones. The show floundered with multiple subplots and annoying characters, with only the great Zachary Quinto propping it up as the villainous Sylar.
The show was cancelled at the end of the fourth season, which itself ended on a cliffhanger. At the time, it felt like a mercy killing for a show that desperately lost its way, but time has a habit of healing wounds, so fans started to pine for a new series. They got their wish in 2015 with Heroes Reborn, although they quickly wished they hadnt.
Most of the Heroes main cast, like Quinto or Hayden Panettiere, didn't return and the new show continued making the same mistakes that plagued the later seasons. The reviews were hostile, and when it was announced it wouldn't be back for a second season everyone - including fans - breathed a sigh of relief.
