10 Rogues We Want To See On The Flash TV Series

7. Savitar

Savitar's real name is unknown, though we do know that he was a pilot for a third-world nation during the Cold War. He has powers similar to The Flash, and got them while testing a supersonic fighter jet. When the jet reached top speed, it was struck by lightning and crash landed behind enemy lines. Savitar miraculously survived the crash, and woke to find that he had gained the ability of super speed. He became obsessed with it, and named himself after Savitr, the Hindu "god of motion." Over time he perfected his abilities, tapped into the Speed Force, and discovered powers that no other speedster has mastered, including the ability to create a null-inertia force field around himself, give people and objects kinetic energy, and heal his own injuries almost instantly. He eventually gained followers and became the leader of a cult called the Thunderbolt Agents, and fought several versions of The Flash over the course of several decades. One could easily see how someone like Savitar could fit within the CW series, and act as the "big bad" of one of the seasons. Not only is he a formidable villain, but his Speed Force knowledge could help introduce the concept to audiences and flesh out the larger science fiction elements of the Flash mythology.
