10 Sci-Fi TV Show Moments That Pissed Off Fans

4. Barry Keeps Messing With The Timelines - The Flash

The Walking Dead
The CW

The second entry from the Arrowverse on this list, The Flash established a stronger superhero genre with proper superpowers and a lighter tone than Arrow. It brought a staple DC character onto the small screen along with many other classic characters that fans were excited to finally see

One of the interesting story arcs in the early seasons involved time travel through super speed that depicted one of DC’s most popular storylines, Flashpoint. It was a clever and intriguing way to progress the story while appeasing comic fans at the same time. It also brought the inclusion of the multiverse into the Arrowverse that changed the different shows into developing more possible avenues for famous stories.

But it wasn't all good news. The writers became lazy and by the time Flashpoint came around, it had been the third timeline altering in the show. This became an obvious way of the show trying to spice up the narrative and attract more comic fans to the series.

However, this just made fans tired of the same plot point being used again as they had invested in the current narrative, only to have it wiped clean and started again. Once was great, twice was fine but three time was too much to put up with.
