10 Sci-Fi TV Shows In DESPERATE Need Of A Revival

Swamp Thing may have only just had its plug pulled but you'd be hard-pressed to find any DC fan who wouldn't jump at the chance of a revival.

One of the more shocking cancellations in recent memory, the show had only just dropped its premiere on DC Universe and received both fan and critical acclaim for it. Naturally, nobody saw it getting cut short only a week later.

Its 10-episode first season is a thrilling watch as it successfully reinvented a classic comic book character that had spent far too long being associated with cheesiness. To think what this innovative horror series could have accomplished if it were allowed more time grow.

Speaking of which, the show makes its network television debut this year as it will air on The CW in place of its usual Arrowverse programming (which won't return until next year). With that in mind, if it draws well, the network should definitely think about reviving it.

No, it's not a typical CW series, but since the network has vowed that no changes will be made to fellow DC Universe show Stargirl when it officially joins its line-up for its second season, they could always make that same promise for Swamp Thing should they bring it back.
