10 Sci-Fi TV Shows In DESPERATE Need Of A Revival

Arrow John Constantine

Matt Ryan is currently killing it on DC's Legends of Tomorrow as our beloved demon hunter John Constantine, but every bloody time that he does, we're reminded of the fact that he was once headlining his own series.

NBC's short-lived Constantine series was just getting off the ground when it was scrapped by the network and it's a darn shame because it was slowly building towards some pretty nifty supernatural stuff by following its procedural demon-of-the-week format.

The show was seductively dark and full of promise, but the best thing about it was undoubtedly Ryan's incredibly comic-accurate portrayal of the character. While he's certainly once again proving that on Legends, the thought of what he'd be capable of in a much darker environment is too good to just be a 'thought'.

HBO Max is bringing us a Justice League Dark series and rumor has it that they may also be developing a Constantine spin-off. Whether that's true or not remains to be seen, but it would be redundant without the brilliant Ryan. With that in mind, it would make more sense to revive the show for that long-awaited second season and move it to HBO Max where it can be much, much darker.
