10 Sci-Fi TV Shows In DESPERATE Need Of A Revival

2. Buffy The Vampire Slayer

Arrow John Constantine
Mutant Enemy

No doubt one of the most iconic TV shows of all time, Buffy The Vampire Slayer entertained a generation during the late '90s and early '00s, redeeming Joss Whedon's incredible concept after the previous movie adaptation failed to do it any justice.

The problem, however, is that it did such a phenomenal job of reinventing female-led TV, that the idea of it ever being rebooted is simply preposterous.

With that in mind, it would be better to drop any notion of a remake and bring the original cast back for one final hurrah. Yes, the show ended on a pretty perfect note, but a standalone revival, allowing us to catch up with a mature Buffy to find out if she's still slaying would make for quite the compelling watch - especially since part of Buffy's appeal was her inherently childish/youthful approach.

It's now or never for a Buffy revival and considering it's something that fans would lap up in an instant, it really should be a no-brainer. Give Buffy Summers back to Sarah Michelle Gellar one more time.
