9. Helstrom
One of the few new superhero shows to hit screens in the fall, Marvel's Helstrom is, in many ways, the last of its kind. Originally envisioned as one of three Marvel Television shows, it was eventually moved to Marvel Studios (when the former subsidiary folded into the latter) while the others were scrapped altogether.
Based on the Marvel characters, the show follows Ana and Daimon Helstrom as they set to out to hunt a great evil that they believe their mother set loose on the world. However, their grim adventures are surrounded by a ton of unearthed family drama.
A surprisingly dark offering - especially when you consider it's supposed to be set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe - Helstrom is the perfect show to thrill you this Halloween. After much anticipation, its trailer was released online at this year's iteration of Comic-Con and, well, let's just say you might want to watch it with the lights on.
A supernatural horror that may keep your comic book love alive in the harsh months of winter, Helstrom can be binged in its entirety from October 16.
