You don't need this writer to explain to you how popular the Jurassic Park franchise is, but if you need your fix of it before Jurassic World: Dominion hits theaters next year, then you can find it in Netflix's upcoming computer-animated series Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous.

Set during the events of 2015's Jurassic World, the show centers on a group of teenagers who, following a trip to an adventure camp on Isla Nublar, are thrown into disarray during the Indominous Rex's infamous rampage. With dinosaurs free - and many of them literally out for blood - the six campers must learn to trust each other so that they can get off the island safely.

Certainly an unexpected addition to the franchise - but another nice little experiment following the Battle At Big Rock short film released last year - it promises to widen the Jurassic Park universe just that little bit more, adding more context to the 2015 reboot while containing some very impressive computer-animation - with the dinosaurs looking almost identical to their big-screen counterparts.

All episodes arrive on September 18 and, if you're looking for a mix of escapism and nostalgia, this one will undoubtedly be everything you need.
