10 Seinfeldisms That Became Part Of Our Everyday Life

3. Low Talker/High Talker/Close Talker

Seinfeld TV
NBC

Of course, these three terms appeared in three different Seinfeld episodes, but they definitely convey the same spirit.

The low talker came from The Puffy Shirt, when Leslie, a fashion designer with a barely audible voice enlists Jerry to wear the titular shirt live on national television.

The high talker's first appearance was in The Pledge Drive, in the form of a high-pitched voice from the other side of the phone line, who turns out to be not Noreen, but her boyfriend Dan.

And finally, The Raincoats introduced us to Elaine's boyfriend Aaron, who can't help himself but stand way to close to your face when talking to you.

These three perfectly convey the way Jerry Seinfeld's and Larry David's petty annoyances can become universal and resonate with a lot of people. Now, if they could only make some people become more self-aware and reconsider the way they talk.

Big fan of TV shows, music, and indie films. Gets too emotional when watching football. Secretly thinks he could run a Premier League club based only on his time spent playing Football Manager.
