7. You're Regularly Rearranging Your Merchandise Collection
Thank God for your remote controlled Dalek, eh? Your ever growing collection of Doctor Who memorabilia comprises of your most prized possessions and, while your shrine is always in a pristine condition (the word 'pedantic' comes to mind...), you can't help but rearrange it from time to time and this act becomes much more frequent - and gradually takes place later and later in the day, until you're up doing it in the very early hours - as your withdrawal symptoms inevitably intensify. It doesn't really make much sure, of course, but then what about mourning the loss of a fictional character when he'll be back on our screens in a mere matter of months actually does? Besides, it's psychological, if anything. There's just something about continuously repositioning your endless supply of figures, mugs, books and God knows what else that makes you feel closer to the show somehow. Just try not to shed too many tears as you're dusting off your boxsets, eh? There will be a new one to add to your shelf before as you know it. Promise.
