The nature of a zombie means there is unlikely to be a cure per se. Outside of the wonderful Warm Bodies, there has never been any suggestion of a cure for a zombie that didnt involve blowing their head off. One of the obvious conclusions from the other suggestions made here is to find a way of bringing people back from their undead state. It is highly unlikely, even in a fictional setting where zombies are accepted as a possibility, that any cure would work on those who are barely skeletons. But there is no reason an antigen could not be found to save those who have been recently bitten. The quest to find such a holy grail would certainly give the characters impetus and a goal, as well as having them question who they could have saved had it been available previously. A race against time to find the correct solution could prove an excellent cliffhanger to a season and offer some semblance of hope that normality could be resumed. What fixes do you think would improve on The Walking Dead? Let us know in the comments below.
I.T. Consultant, technophile and Doctor Who fan. I like to talk about tech, take films apart and make excuses for Doctor Who's continuity errors. No other show has the power to make me feel like a big kid.
