10 Simpsons Characters Who Are Completely Underused

6. Groundskeeper Willie

One of the most consistently hilarious bit-part characters on The Simpsons is without a doubt Groundskeeper Willie. He stole the show as Freddy Kruger in Treehouse of Horror VI. His retirement grease, pilfered by Homer and Bart, made for one of the show's more memorable episodes, but despite getting all the laughs, he gets little of the glory, and even less screen time. Why not send him back to his home town of North Kilttown for an episode? Willie did get back to Scotland when Mr. Burns went looking for Nessie, but there's plenty more Willie could do back home. A love interest would also give the groundskeeper reason to spruce up his shack.
