8. Moose And Squirrel
Crowley had no qualms about letting Sam and Dean know how little he thought of them. On one occasion he said, "You two, at best, are functional morons." He later referred to the Winchester brothers as Moose and Squirrel, comparing their incompetence to the animated duo Rocky and Bullwinkle. So fond was Crowley of the nickname that in some 25 episodes he referred to Sam as Moose.
Season 14, episode 10 takes place in an imaginary bar inside Dean's mind (that Dean believes he owns and runs). The bar is not so subtly named 'Rocky's Bar'. Emphasizing this theme are the background details of a moose head on the wall and a small stuffed squirrel wearing an aviator hat.
Extra keen eyes might catch some more difficult to spot details. Hanging on the wall is the original Impala license plate. The bar serves beer from the Family Business Beer Company, a beer company owned by Dean's actor, Jensen Ackles, his wife Danneel and her brother Gino.
Also, the bar-top features a carved heart that reads: Daphne loves Fred. A reference both to Dean's love of the cartoon Scooby-Doo as well as the show's crossover episode Scooby-Natural.
