10 Songs Forever Ruined By TV Shows

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iM70_PORDP4 Victim: Styx's Come Sail Away Fart joke-lovers Trey Parker and Matt Stone have never been known for protecting the eardrums or sanity of their devoted viewers. Treated with even less care are famous musical artists that Parker and Stone choose to mock and exploit on their animated series. From Elvis Presley to Barbara Streisand, no musical performer is truly safe when given the full South Park treatment. While most musicians are merely mocked as a person on the show, a select few have witnessed the destruction of their songs in a way far worse than a few jokes involving genitals. Combine a loud-mouthed fat child in a parka with a power ballad that was already more than obnoxious when played at length, and you get Eric Cartman singing Styx€™s Come Sail Away at full volume. Cartman has ruined many other songs, such as In the Ghetto and was even featured on a Christmas album that did nothing but ruin classic carols. As a personal defect of his already obnoxious character, he is unable to stop singing the Styx song once he has started it. This allows for the rest of the South Park crew to torment him at will, but when you really look at it, aren't we all victims when Cartman is allowed to sing?
