10 South Park Characters You Totally Forgot Existed
3. Starvin' Marvin
The four main boys - Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny - will often do a lot for so very little. Case in point, back in season one, they were willing to donate to the Christian Children's fund if it meant getting a free sports watch. But by a miscommunication, they were sent an Ethiopian boy instead.
Initially shocked, the boys decide to befriend the child and name him Starvin Marvin, because of him being extremely malnourished. Although he does not speak a word of English, Marvin does pick up some of Cartman's catchphrases, such as "sweet!" and "yeah, I want the cheesy poofs". Eventually, it was found out that he was sent by mistake to America and is then shipped back to Ethiopia (this time, with a group of mutant turkeys to feed his home village).
In season three, Starvin Marvin made a return to South Park (in a space ship!) to ask the boys for help in getting a new home for his starving people. Very randomly, he also made a cameo appearance in the show's 100th episode "I'm A Little Bit Country" but with no acknowledgement from the main boys.
