10 Star Wars Expanded Universe Characters Who Deserve A Second Chance On Disney+

9. Revan

Originally introduced in the video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Revan quickly gained mythical status among Star Wars fans. Revan was originally a Jedi who fought during the Mandalorian Wars. More than a soldier, he was the Supreme Commander of all the Jedi and Galactic Republic forces involved in the conflict.

As seems to happen more often than the Jedi would like to admit, Revan turned to the Dark Side and became Darth Revan. He even took his padawan, Malak, with him. An interesting fact about Revan was that as a playable character in Knights of the Old Republic, players could choose the gender. He was confirmed as male in the MMORPG, The Old Republic.

Oddly enough, Revan is actually part of the new canon, though the character has yet to be used in any meaningful way. He was included in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Dictionary which accompanied the release of the 2019 film. If he actually gets used in any upcoming projects remains to be seen.
