10 Star Wars Expanded Universe Characters Who Deserve A Second Chance On Disney+
8. Darth Talon
Twi'leks hold an odd place in Star Wars history. In the Original Trilogy, the females only appeared as dancers. The most prominent male was Bib Fortuna, advisor and majordomo to Jabba the Hutt. Bib callously watched Jabba feed a Twi'lek dancer to the Rancor in Return of the Jedi. The Clone Wars and Rebel presented a much different view of the race.
In The Clone Wars, Twi'leks were a peaceful but oppressed people who staged their own rebellion against the Separatists. Rebels took things a step further with one of the main characters, Hera Syndulla, a female Twi'lek who became one of the Rebellions' greatest pilots and leaders. But before any of this, there was Darth Talon.
A Lethan Twi'Lek, Talon was vicious, deadly and loyal to her master, Darth Krayt. A third generation member of the Sith, she was trained in the former Sith Academy on Korriban, her body covered in tattoos collected in ritual combat. Talon was a fearsome warrior who hounded the Jedi at every turn, and would make an interesting addition to the current canon.
