10 Stargate Storylines That Were Never Resolved

6. When Are We Going To See The Furlings?

Thanks in large part to the actions of SG-1, Humanity becomes a power to be reckoned with in galactic conversations. They draw the attention of the Asgard, who inform them of a great alliance between four major races - the Asgard, the Ancients, the Nox and the Furlings.

Between each of the various franchises, we have seen or met representatives from each of the races - bar the Furlings. For an ancient and all-powerful race, they really did keep a low profile.

Very low - as no member of their race have ever been seen. The hilarious episode 200 imagined a race that were reminiscent of Koala Bears, doomed by a catastrophe that Samantha Carter wasn't able to prevent. But in the actual run of the show, they have either become extinct, or moved to another part of the universe. Considering humanity was on its way to becoming the fifth race in the alliance, and not the replacement fourth race, then introducing the Furlings is something that could only serve to deepen the lore of the show.
