William, now sixteen, was nine when he won a Blue Peter competition to design a Doctor Who monster although, in fairness to him, he originally meant the creature to be around the size of a double decker bus, and not to be played by Peter Kay. Theres no monster in the world that wont look ridiculous played by Peter Kay in his pants. Still, silly or not, the Absorbaloff has to rank as one of the weirdest villains Doctor Whos ever had.
