We all need something to help us forget the terrible Elektra movie starring Jennifer Garner. It's unlikely that the character will be given another run in films after she was ruined so horribly, but there is always the chance that she could be revived for her own television series, even if it ends up being on Netflix or a similar service. Despite the awful memories we all have, the character is actually one with quite an interesting history that could make for some great storytelling, especially if it was an origin story. Frank Miller's original take on the sai wielding Ninja gave her an edge that saw her clash with Daredevil on moral grounds more than once. Her willingness to use more brutal force than other heroes has seen her take on more of an anti-hero reputation, making her the kind of flawed character audiences love to watch make mistakes and then try desperately to fix them.
