10 Supporting TV Characters That Completely Stole The Spotlight

8. April - Parks And Recreation

Parks and Recreation is one of the best comedies ever written, therefore, it is difficult to choose just one supporting character.

Most people would argue that Ron Swanson (played by the brilliant Nick Offerman) is the best sidekick, but really, by the end of the show's run, Ron basically became the main character himself.

Instead, April (played by the also brilliant Aubrey Plaza) has been given the medal for the best supporting character, mostly due to her comedic acting and the power of her reactions. Her facial expressions alone deserve an Emmy.

She's an enormously rewarding watch, even when she's not the main focus of a scene, because April is always doing something in the background, whether that's subtle facial movements or over the top and in your face scene-stealing. She sure knows how to take the limelight.

And really, without April, Chris Pratt's character Andy wouldn't be nearly as memorable as he is today.

Kristy Law hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
