10. The Clothing

One of the first - and easiest - ways of detecting a Whovian comes down to their clothing. Some fans just wear a simple Doctor Who themed t-shirt and others wear the infamous Converse sneakers that styled the ever loveable Tenth Doctor or the Eleventh Doctor's bow tie (because they're cool!). Others, meanwhile, go the whole way and just dress in the full outfit of their favourite Doctor. But there is one item of clothing that shows that this person is a dedicated Whovian. The Fourth Doctor's multicoloured scarf. More of a personality trait rather than an item of clothing, it's something significant and recognisable within the Doctor Who mythology. There might be various multicoloured scarfs out there but the pattern of this particular scarf is unique and so unique that only Whovians seem to notice.
