10 Terrible CGI Moments In Big Budget TV Shows
8. Once Upon A Time - The Dragon
Once Upon a Time was ABC's award winning fairy-tale fantasy series featuring incarnations of popular characters from traditional fairy tales as well as a number of original Disney characters.
The show itself boasted an interesting premise, a number of high-profile actors and intriguing story arcs, but unfortunately, it fell down in the one place it really needed to hold up: its CGI.
There are a number of times when this is impossible to ignore, most notably whenever we see a fairy-tale landscape or a character using any form of magic, but by far the worst is Once Upon a Time's dragons.
Cartoonish, hulking brutes that look in no way to be a part of the world they apparently inhabit, the show's dragons are absolutely laughable.
By way of reference, Once Upon a Time premiered in 2011 - the same year that a little show named Game of Thrones first graced our screens - so there's absolutely no way to justify the use of such sub-par effects in a series built upon bringing fairy tales to life.
